Celebrating Legal Excellence is pleased to recognize those few attorneys in Wisconsin upon whom the Martin Hanson Advocate's Prize has been conferred. The Martin Hanson Advocate's Prize is awarded by the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers to those lawyers who have accomplished the rare homicide case acquittal. A founding member of WACDL, Martin Hanson is regarded as one of the best criminal defense attorneys in all of Wisconsin of his generation.
